How to Apply in
4 Simple Steps
To study at a college in Canada, it is required you obtain a study permit. Before you can obtain a study permit, you must first receive a letter of acceptance from a college. For the best chance of success as an international student with your application to Excellence Imperial Career College, follow our simple step process.
Step 1

Our team will provide detailed information about your program of interest, including tuition, admission requirements, and potential career pathways. Our admissions counselors are here to support you every step of the way and ensure all your questions are answered.
Step 2
Meet With Us & Submit Your Documents
Click the “Apply Now” tab to complete and submit the application form. Please ensure you include the following:
- A copy of government issued ID (e.g. Passport Bio Data Page, Government ID card with photo, etc.)
- Proof of academic certificates or transcripts (secondary or post-secondary)
- Proof of legal status in Canada (e.g. PR Card, Citizenship Certificate, Passport, Refugee Status document, etc.)
Step 3
Receive & Accept Your Offer of Admission
Once we’ve reviewed your application, you’ll receive an official Letter of Acceptance. Take time to review the offer, understand all important deadlines, and check for any outstanding conditions. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, and high-volume periods may delay your letter by 10–15 business days.

Confirm Your Spot & Begin Your Journey
To confirm your enrollment:
- Pay any outstanding tuition fees by the deadline listed in your offer
- Send proof of payment to: admissions@elccollege.ca
- Complete your final registration process

Admission Requirement
To be eligible to apply for any program, prospective students must meet one of the following requirements:
- Minimum of a Canadian high school grade 12 or equivalent (Ontario Secondary School Diploma – OSSD) or equivalent,
- Equivalent foreign credentials must be translated into English and evaluated for Grade 12 equivalency by a recognized assessment organization.
- A mature student (19 years of age or older) status may be granted to applicants who are over 19 years of age and do not have a Canadian high school diploma or GED.
- Alternate Admission Test: A minimum score of 11 on the Wonderlic SLE, as administered by EICC.
NOTE: Applicants with international transcripts must provide proof of the subject-specific requirements noted above and may be required to provide proof of language proficiency.
Additional Requirement
English Language Proficiency
Potential students whose language of instruction was not English, this must be demonstrated through one of the options:
- NACC Technical Literacy Exam (minimum passing score: 18), administered by EICC.
- IELTS – International English Language Testing Services – Minimum average score of 6.0 with no subject test score lower than 5.5
- TOEFL –Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-based test (IBT) – over 80, with the minimum of each component: Reading 20; Listening 20; Speaking 20; Writing 20.
Visa Confirmation
Smooth, reliable guidance for your study permit and immigration process, from approval to arrival.
Once your Study Permit is approved, please send proof of approval to the college. You’ll then receive an email approximately 5–8 weeks before classes begin with details on how to finalize your registration and select your timetable.
At Excellence Imperial Career College (EICC), international students receive complimentary visa and immigration support. We’ve partnered with authorized immigration consulting firms to provide expert guidance on study permits, work permits, and Canadian immigration pathways. These services are completely free for students who are applying to or enrolled at EICC, ensuring you have trusted assistance every step of the way toward a successful transition to life and learning in Canada.
Deferral of Admission
You can ask to delay your admission if your study permit or student visa application is denied or delayed, or if you can’t start your studies for personal reasons. Requests must be made within 30 days of your original program start date and are based on availability in upcoming intakes. You must have already paid the minimum tuition to Excellence Imperial Career College. Submit your deferral letter to info@excellenceimperialcollege.ca.
You can only defer to the same program and a future term in the same academic year, for up to three intakes. Provide a copy of your Visa or Study Permit Refusal Letter (if available) from the Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Cancellation & Fee Refund Policy
Excellence Imperial Career College reserves the right to cancel when sufficient enrollment is not met. Applicants affected by canceled classes may elect to transfer their application to the next scheduled session or receive a full refund for the canceled sessions. Fees must be paid as outlined in the Enrolment Contract, and all payments are due immediately upon receiving an invoice.
To be eligible for a refund of fees for the current term/session, students must submit a formal written notification of withdrawal within 10 business days of the beginning of a course or a program to info@excellenceimperialcollege.ca.
Students who withdraw before or on the 10th day of the term must notify the Campus Administrator or their instructor or program coordinator. Upon withdrawal by the 10th day, students may receive a refund for all term tuition and ancillary fees assessed and paid, less a $500.00 administrative fee, application fee, and any applicable service charges (e.g., installment fee, late fee, deferral fee, etc.). Students who withdraw after the 10th day of the term will not receive a refund for the current term/year. However, they may have the option to re-enroll for the following semester program. It is important to note that:
- Students who withdraw after the 10th day of the term, and who have outstanding fees for the current term, are subject to being held liable for those outstanding fees at the discretion of the College.
- Students who do not officially withdraw will be liable for all assessed fees.
- Excellence Imperial Career College may cancel this contract if the student does not attend classes within the first 10 days of the program. For information regarding cancellation of this Enrolment Contract and refunds of fees paid, see sections 25 to 33 of Reg. 415/06 made under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
- The following situations DO NOT imply official withdrawal from a course or a program:
- Non-attendance
- Verbal or electronic notification to your instructor, program coordinator, or any EICC employee.
Withholding Credentials
Where full consideration has not been paid by the Student, Excellence Imperial Career College may withhold or revoke Credentials. Credit Reporting: Aside from any other remedy open to Excellence Imperial Career College for non-payment of fees (such as pursuing a civil claim for recovery against the student and/or withholding of accreditation), EICC may report Students to a licensed Credit Bureau for non-payment and/or delinquency of fee payments. Interest Rate on Delinquency: Overdue accounts shall be charged to students at a rate of 1.5% per month or 19.56% per annum, and interest will be compounded daily.
Refund Policy
The international student refund policy aligns with the guidelines set by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and University’s Policy on Tuition and Ancillary Fees, as well as the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Study Permit guidelines.
For payments made outside of Canada, refunds will be returned to the original source of payment. It is advised that students do not use an Agent for payments to ensure a smooth refund process. Please note that payments will not be transferred to other institutions. Citizenship and Immigration Canada will be informed of any students who are not actively registered at Excellence Imperial Career College.
To comply with industry standards and the Government of Canada’s guidelines, Excellence Imperial Career College will only refund funds to the original payer and payer account and will not transfer funds to another institution.
- Wire transfer fees or other bank charges related to returning the funds will be deducted from the refunded amount.
- Excellence Imperial Career College will process the return of funds within 60 to 90 days upon receiving all required documentation for the refund request.
- Excellence Imperial Career College is not responsible for funds that fail to reach their destination due to inaccurate or outdated financial information provided by the student. Students are responsible for all banking and foreign exchange charges related to their payment or refund.
Excellence Imperial Career College will inform Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada (IRCC) of the student’s withdrawal or transfer from the College.
