These services are completely free for students who are applying to or enrolled at EICC, ensuring you have trusted assistance every step of the way toward a successful transition to life and learning in Canada.

Deferral of Admission

You can ask to delay your admission if your study permit or student visa application is denied or delayed, or if you can’t start your studies for personal reasons. Requests must be made within 30 days of your original program start date and are based on availability in upcoming intakes. You must have already paid the minimum tuition to Excellence Imperial Career College. Submit your deferral letter to info@excellenceimperialcollege.ca.

You can only defer to the same program and a future term in the same academic year, for up to three intakes. Provide a copy of your Visa or Study Permit Refusal Letter (if available) from the Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Cancellation & Fee Refund Policy

Excellence Imperial Career College reserves the right to cancel when sufficient enrollment is not met. Applicants affected by canceled classes may elect to transfer their application to the next scheduled session or receive a full refund for the canceled sessions. Fees must be paid as outlined in the Enrolment Contract, and all payments are due immediately upon receiving an invoice.

To be eligible for a refund of fees for the current term/session, students must submit a formal written notification of withdrawal within 10 business days of the beginning of a course or a program to info@excellenceimperialcollege.ca.

Students who withdraw before or on the 10th day of the term must notify the Campus Administrator or their instructor or program coordinator. Upon withdrawal by the 10th day, students may receive a refund for all term tuition and ancillary fees assessed and paid, less a $500.00 administrative fee, application fee, and any applicable service charges (e.g., installment fee, late fee, deferral fee, etc.). Students who withdraw after the 10th day of the term will not receive a refund for the current term/year. However, they may have the option to re-enroll for the following semester program. It is important to note that:

Withholding Credentials

Where full consideration has not been paid by the Student, Excellence Imperial Career College may withhold or revoke Credentials. Credit Reporting: Aside from any other remedy open to Excellence Imperial Career College for non-payment of fees (such as pursuing a civil claim for recovery against the student and/or withholding of accreditation), EICC may report Students to a licensed Credit Bureau for non-payment and/or delinquency of fee payments. Interest Rate on Delinquency: Overdue accounts shall be charged to students at a rate of 1.5% per month or 19.56% per annum, and interest will be compounded daily.

Refund Policy

The international student refund policy aligns with the guidelines set by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and University’s Policy on Tuition and Ancillary Fees, as well as the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Study Permit guidelines.

For payments made outside of Canada, refunds will be returned to the original source of payment. It is advised that students do not use an Agent for payments to ensure a smooth refund process. Please note that payments will not be transferred to other institutions. Citizenship and Immigration Canada will be informed of any students who are not actively registered at Excellence Imperial Career College.

To comply with industry standards and the Government of Canada’s guidelines, Excellence Imperial Career College will only refund funds to the original payer and payer account and will not transfer funds to another institution.

Excellence Imperial Career College will inform Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada (IRCC) of the student’s withdrawal or transfer from the College.
